Since today, Rouen residents can defy gravity in a new tree climbing area installed in Jacques-Chastellain Park, on Lacroix Island. Managed by the Accrocamp company, this attraction was set up to offer visitors a thrilling activity in the heart of the city. The site manager, Charlotte Dupont, is proud to offer budding adventurers a choice of seven courses, including two for children. The five other courses, reserved for adults over 1m30, offer a variety of difficulties and obstacles that will suit all levels.

With a height of up to 16 meters, the courses offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area, including the cathedral spire and the Seine. The test route is mandatory before starting the adventure, thus allowing you to familiarize yourself with the equipment and the principle of a continuous lifeline. The latter ensures permanent safety and allows you not to get stuck again once you are launched on the course.

For the more daring, one of the courses ends with a 4-meter free fall followed by a rappel, allowing you to return to the ground in complete safety. The manager insists on the aesthetic aspect of the park, which fits perfectly with the landscape of Lacroix Island. Prices for a three-hour entry vary between 10 and 30 euros depending on the routes chosen, with a preferential offer for online reservations.

This new activity helps energize Lacroix Island, while offering visitors a unique experience of its kind, mixing adrenaline and the beauty of the surrounding area. Accrocamp has succeeded in creating an adventure space that will delight all ages and skill levels.
