The star of Youtube Charles Gilles-Compagnon better known as Fastgoodkitchen, opens a brand dedicated to fried chicken a stone's throw from the old market square. Open since November 23, 2021 in Rouen, the concept revolves around fried chicken and burgers!
What is his story ?
After his first video published in 2012, Fastgoodkitchen made a series of cooking videos, and was the first to create this concept on Youtube In France. Little by little he created his place, and today brings together 4,45 Million subscribers on his YouTube channel and almost 2 million subscribers on Instagram. After traveling a lot, he discovered a passion for chicken, he had the opportunity to taste real chicken. Charles wanted to bring back real flavors in order to make it tasteable to as many people as possible. He opened his first restaurant in the form of Dark Kitchen in center of Rouen.
Where to find it?
Since November 23, the concept has been available under the name Pepe Chicken, 8 Rue du Crosne. You find it on home delivery platforms, such as Deliveroo, uber eat… Pepe Chicken is only available for takeaway, it is not possible to eat on site. Pepe chicken does not have a full-fledged restaurant but prepares all its dishes in a shared kitchen, “Chef Next Door” a stone's throw from the Place du old market. It is present in other cities, such as Lille or Paris and wishes to establish itself in 15 other cities in France before the end of 2021.
What to eat?
You can taste lots of good things, but only one condition: you have to like chicken! Burgers, tenders, Wings are there, always accompanied by their fries: sweet potatoes, or normal!
