It's a page that turns to the Dragons of Rouen. Slovenian goalkeeper Matija Pintaric has announced his departure from the Normandy club after seven successful seasons.

Arriving in 2017, Pintaric was a key element of the Dragons, contributing to four French championship titles (2018, 2021, 2023 and 2024) and two French Cups (2019 and 2020). He was also one of the great architects of the last victory in the Magnus League, overthrowing the Bordeaux Boxers after being down 2-0 in the final.

Recognized for his talent and leadership on the ice, Pintaric also made an impression with his endearing personality.

“I would like to warmly thank the Dragons, their supporters and the city of Rouen for these seven wonderful years,” said Pintaric. “I have experienced extraordinary moments here and I will always keep these memories engraved in my heart. I wish all the Dragons the best for the future.”

If Pintaric's future destination is not yet known, there is no doubt that he will continue to shine on French and European ice in the years to come.

The departure of Matija Pintaric marks the end of an era for the Rouen Dragons. But the Norman club is already looking to the future and determined to continue its domination in the Magnus League.
