Eagle-Eye Cherry's career changed with the hit song Save Tonight. 25 years later, he released his sixth studio album Back on Track. Between success and doubts, a look back at this career.

Eagle-Eye Cherry: a diverse start to his career

As a teenager, Eagle-Eye and his family moved to New York, where they became neighbors with the band Talking Heads. He attended a performing arts school, played drums in several bands, and tried to make a living as an actor. In 1995, after the death of his father, Eagle-Eye left theater and returned to Sweden to pursue music. His album Desireless, released in 1997, achieved great success thanks to the single Save Tonight, which quickly climbed the charts—first in Sweden and Scandinavia, then throughout Europe, before reaching the United States. United. The song went platinum and peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.

Return to stage for a 6th album

During the years of the pandemic, Eagle-Eye began to doubt its place in the world as it watched healthcare workers fight to save lives. He wondered if he had made the right career choice. However, it was the absence of concerts that made him realize what really matters. Being on stage, feeling the unity and love of the audience, that's what gave meaning to his career. This is how the album title Back on Track was born. Meet the artist on Saturday June 29 on the Rock In Evreux stage.
