The Local Producer, a group of local producers committed to protecting the environment and social well-being, will open a sixth store in Mont-Saint-Aignan on Thursday, March 2. Claire Pérez, founder of Le Producteur Local, is delighted with this new step for the company and hopes to see even more people join the cause. In a context where the main concerns are healthy eating, fair remuneration of producers, purchasing power and environmental protection, it is more important than ever to support initiatives such as Le Produceur Local.
The Local Producer is part of this vision by offering healthy, quality products that remunerate farmers, market gardeners, breeders and local artisans more fairly. Producers are grouped into a cooperative to sell their production directly to consumers, while themselves being members and managers of Le Producteur Local. They respect a charter which highlights human values, quality and transparency, and are located less than 80 km from points of sale.
It is important to emphasize that the creation of a new store also means the creation of new jobs for the local community.
