Rouen Bouge, tested for you a brand new pizzeria in Rouen created by an Italian recognized for his talents in Rome. He therefore opened his own pizzeria in Rouen on rue du Gros Horloge.

Pizzeria Margherita Rouen

A typical immersed Italian restaurant near the Gros Horloge. There you will find a small pizzeria which will offer you all types of pizzas with 72 hours of maturation each. Delivery or takeaway. From original pizza to vegan, including an anchovy pizza, purely Italian and all served by the slice. Accompanied by various extras such as the Suppli Classico. Or baked potatoes.

What is slice pizza?

The so-called cut pizza pizza al taglio in Italian is a variety of pizza cooked in large rectangular trays and sold by weight before your eyes. In rectangular or square slices depending on your choice.

This type of pizza was invented in Rome and spread throughout Italy. Many variations and styles of pizza are served to you at Margherita.

The menus Margherita

The pizzeria invites you to taste its dishes on different menus. From the Panino menu with Ciabatta com Polpette, a starter with baked potatoes and a dessert and a drink of your choice for €13,90 or the Discovery menu with Tris from Pizza Gourmet: 1/2 slice of Piza Pecorino Romano, 1/2 part of Pesto and Bufala Pizza, 1/2 part of Polpette Pizza + Drink of your choice + Baked Potato Starter for €19,90.

The Rouen Bouge experience

We were lucky enough to be able to taste two types of pizza as well as the Suppli Classico. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is new and the food is well presented. They all made us want it.

The pizzas we tasted were the Bresaola pizza: BresaolaPunta d'Anca beef charcuterie, Homemade Pistachio Cream, Parmesan and Organic Lemon Peel in Julienne. And the Margherita pizza with Organic San Matteo Tomato Sauce, Frior di Latte Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.

Both of which were succulent and tasty. We could smell the flavors and aromas. All ingredients come from Italy and the pizzas are handmade.
