Who is Ecloz?

William VINCENT is a graphic designer known as “Ecloz” since his debut at the age of 15. He comes from Évreux in Normandy. His passion began at the end of the 90s where he developed a fairly modern style and techniques such as 3D. He expresses his art on industrial wastelands, walls, trains, metro, highway edges and also on TGVs!

Ecloz, a true artist’s journey!

He started young with a passion for painting with his childhood friend Guillaume with whom he filled the walls with aerosol cans. These prohibitions stimulated his speed of execution. Ecloz had a complicated start with sanctions (indictments, judicial controls, etc.). The young man persevered with his addictive passion and registered at the artists' house. Today, he transmits to children, paints on canvas, exhibits in galleries and creates frescoes for institutions (La MATMUT, La SNCF, Renault, La ville de Rouen).

Ecloz is now located at Rouen !

Ecloz bought and restored a shop on rue des Bons Enfants in Rouen, and opened his workshop/gallery there in 2008. He expanded further in 2018 and opened a second workshop 4 times larger! It also opens a storage reserve to develop the rental of works to businesses. He gets help from an artistic agent: Gaylord Delarche.

What is his motivation?

The artist continues to make a living from his passion for vandal graffiti abroad because it is very important to him, it is part of his values. He has a taste for adventure. The artist surpasses himself and has confidence in himself. His strength is “not having forgotten anything about his first steps, his exploits, the sanctions, nor the unconditional support of his parents”.

His slogan for moving forward is “Today is just the “tomorrow” that scared us yesterday.”

He is always looking for evolution and improvement, the artist always wants to do better and is never entirely satisfied when he finishes his works.

Where can we find these works?

The graffiti artist's works can be found in the streets of Rouen, but not only that! The walls of Normandy towns also welcome graffiti d'Ecloz.
