Once upon a time there was Ma – Kao, a friendly night bar at the head of panda, installed for 8 years on rue des bon enfants, which you surely know. Everyone felt good there, especially in winter. But one day summer came, and people wanted a terrace to enjoy the outdoors. So, a few months later, was born Papa Mousse...
A very young bar!
Papa Mousse is a beer bar recently opened on Saint-Marc Square, a little set back, quiet, away from the road, you can recognize it by its authentic colorful logo. Six characters whose beards merge with the foam of the pint they are about to drink. A very particular design that doesn't remind you of Andy Warhol's Marilyn Diptyque. But the best part is that it's not even done on purpose. At Papa Mousse you will be welcomed by a happy and smiling team, Lucie, David and Diano.
Shall we sit outside or inside?
Outside, a large terrace with chairs of all colors, a small nod to the bar's logo. Inside there is a small friendly atmosphere, we are seated on exclusively recycled furniture, there is no seat that is the same! But what makes all the originality of this bar, is that it is filled with works by local artists. Some come and go, others stay and have been adopted by the bar and its beloved regulars.

At Papa Mousse we feel good, and people don't hide it, so many decided to leave a thank you message or a drawing, a trace of their visit on a coaster which ended up hanging on the wall. A gesture that has become tradition, like Ma – Kao, its cousin the panda. Soon, we will almost be able to make a fresco, so don't stop drawing and writing, because that's all that makes this bar authentic. Dad is always happy to welcome you and for that he serves you a good Mousse! 12 pressure prints, mostly artisanal. It's always running, you're spoiled for choice, you'll have to come back to taste everything! And of course, some delicious cocktails invented by the team that you won't be able to taste anywhere else.
