Fortunately, an exceptional envelope of 300 euros released by the Métropole Rouen Normandie and aid of 000 euros from the State made it possible to maintain the participatory opera, emblematic of the establishment, and to reduce the period of inactivity to four weeks instead of six.

The question is on everyone's lips, and staff members do not hide their concern. However, despite these uncertainties, the opera continues to fight to offer spectators quality performances and make the walls of its majestic building vibrate.
In the meantime, the last performance open to the public of the participatory opera was a real success, with a room filled mainly with children who sang together the first song of “Cinderella or the Grand Hotel of Dreams”. A great proof that the Rouen Normandy Opera is an essential institution of Rouen cultural life, which deserves to be supported to continue to offer moments of magic and emotion to its audience.
