Old Market Square

It is on this square that Joan of Arc was burned alive on May 30, 1431, on the exact spot where a large cross is erected today.
At the time the square was smaller, several churches shared the square as evidenced by the remains of the old Saint-Sauveur church. A Rouen place steeped in history.
Today the square is lively, it is a frequent place of passage for Rouennais, it brings together bars and restaurants.
