Only a few months left before the start of the Rouen Armada, this famous gathering of the largest sailing ships in the world. This Wednesday the organizers of the event unveiled the poster for the Great Maritime Parade which will take place on the last day, June 18.
This famous parade is not to be missed, it offers “120km of celebration” along the Seine between Rouen and Le Havre. It therefore extends over around sixty municipalities.
Launch of the “Boujou La Seine” website
At the same time, the organizers launched the “Boujou La Seine” site to follow news about the event. Between portraits, videos, quizzes and newsletters, you will have everything you need to know to organize your visit to the Armada.
It is also the opening of applications for the Armadienne and the Armadien of this 2023 edition, the ambassadors of Seine-Maritime for the event. Candidates must be aged 18 to 35, living in the department and working in the region. Residents will have until March 24 to submit their filmed application on the Boujou La Seine website.
A harvest of memories
At the same time, this Thursday is also the launch of a collection of souvenirs. Local residents are invited to send their best souvenir photos from previous editions of the Armada. The authors of the most beautiful photos will be rewarded with a boat ride during the event.
The Armada is scheduled for June 8-18, 2023.
