Absinthe it is a daring project carried out by Sami Messebel-Thune, a young entrepreneur with a crazy desire to create a unique experience that brings people together in the heart of the historic center of Rouen. Like its flagship drink Absinthe, the establishment has spicy, floral and warm notes with a decoration transporting a moment into an enchanted forest dotted with intimate lights and green walls.

The concept of this family business is to offer quality at a fair price. You can find there 150 spirits carefully selected, more than 40 beers served in glasses engraved with the image of the famous green fairy, 50 wines, 9 cocktails with the exclusive imprint, without forgetting the 3 mocktails originals that will delight fans of non-alcoholic beverages.
The foodies will not be disappointed by the offer either, boards (2, 4 people) are nicely prepared and composed of quality cold meats, cheese from My cheese shop (Rouen) as well as bread from My bakery (Rouen).

In the future, various gourmet tapas will be prepared by the two chefs making up the team: Aymeric and Pauline who already have in their baggage the know-how of the great Normandy houses. These will be street food version tapas composed of fresh and local products, evolving according to the seasonal products available and sometimes inspired by Asian flavors.
