After a well-deserved break, the long-awaited event which brings together several Rouen bookstores is making a comeback Saturday, May 13, 2023. On the program, special moments with your favorite authors and surprises in store!
Old and new players are there, all driven by the same passion: bringing books and their authors to life, and encouraging readers to discover the wonders of Rouen's bookstores. Eight bookstores have come together to relaunch the “Book Route” and invite you to take a stroll through their establishments. The ideal opportunity to meet cartoonists, screenwriters, authors from the region!
From 14h, go to Emem in Funambules (rue Jeanne-d'Arc) for signings of his latest successful comic book, “Renaissance”. At Grand Nulle Part (rue du Général-Leclerc), meet Hostache for volume 2 of “Pionniers”. Lumière d'August (rue de l'École) opens its doors to meet Bihel, the talented cartoonist behind “In Search of the Wild Man”. Then, head to La Tonne (rue Saint-Vivien) where Christine Chaumartin will sign “A forgotten season”. Continue your journey to L'Armitière (rue Jeanne-d'Arc) in the company of children's illustrator César Canet (from 15 p.m.) and to the Rollon bookstore (rue Saint-Romain) with Julien Levasseur and his book “Children wonderful". The fantastic bookstore “Les Grimoires de Morgane” (rue de la République) will welcome Cécile Delacour, the author of “The Brigade of Angels”. Finally, finish your exploration at the Bizarre Bazaar (rue aux Ours) which offers a fun game of “Seek and find”!
