The 26th edition of the FRENCH CUP will take place on Friday January 31 and Saturday February 1, 2020 at the Guy Boissière sports center in Rouen.
Rouen will be the world meeting place for synchronized figure skating in France, for the 26th consecutive year.
In a partly renovated ice rink, the 26th edition of the French Cup will welcome skaters from the four corners of the world, for a competition that promises to be intense.
A new international recognition
Designated this year as one of three European stages of the ISU Challenger Series, the competition is once again recognized as a crucial stage in the journey of elite international teams to the world championships. The work and seriousness of its organizers and all its volunteers for 26 years is once again recognized.
La Team Joan of Arc, local junior team, named French Team for the second year in a row!
For 5 years, supported by its Manager Anne-Sophie Druet-Avisse and her teaching team, the Rouen Olympic Club and the Normandy League, the team has experienced magnificent progress. Supported by the organized course program set up with the Camille Saint Saëns school campus in Rouen, as well as other high schools and the University, it now has a strong capacity to attract the best athletes from other Regions. An ascent which materializes for the second consecutive year with the title of French Junior Team, awarded by the National Ministerial Technical Directorate, which gives him the right to enter the path to qualification for the 2020 World Championships in Nottingham!
High hopes, and a certain pressure, rest on the shoulders of the Joans of Arc!
