An exceptional hotel in the heart of the historic center of Rouen. Within one of the most visited historical monuments, it is close to the Cathedral, the Gros Horloge and the Place du Vieux Marché. It is one of the buildings in Rouen which serve as a landmark in the city. Located on the beautiful Place de la Pucelle, its silhouette can be recognized from afar. And those who are lucky enough to enter the doors will immediately be familiar with this superb interior courtyard and the turret dominating it.

Rouen and the Hôtel de Bourgtheroulde are the gateway to discovering the city and its rich heritage. You then leave to discover the charms of the region, namely Honfleur, Mont St Michel, the Landing beaches, Caen, Deauville and the flowery coast.

Access: Arts Theater (M, T1, T2, T3, F3, F5, 8, 32, 33, 34)

The staff is welcoming and professional, the bedding is comfortable. However, this establishment is not a 5 star! Many small details mean that even the 4 stars I have stayed in are better: - Offering a welcome tray: but without being able to plug in the kettle - Rips on the tapestry - the hall/bar as well as the reception should undergo a major renovation as it feels like time stood still in the 90s and there are signs of wear everywhere - the pool water could be a little warmer as it is not complicated to relax there - no jets in the pool when we were there - more tea always available at pool level To conclude, I will say that the hotel benefits from the absence of competition in this range for people looking for a luxury and charming hotel because it is the only option in Rouen. It deserves a thorough renovation. In the meantime, it's really not a 5 star and I personally have the feeling of having really paid too much for average quality services.

Average general opinion...we are rather disappointed overall for an establishment rated 5 stars. We stayed one night in a privilege room instead of a tradition, well except that the upgrade is simply a larger room, that's all. To access this one, we had to go through the obstacle course, a real maze. Put aside a little we got the impression. Negative opinion Room side: very simple, no charm for this type of establishment Small TV and very far from the bed without cable (noted on the hotel website) only tnt, pillows of very poor quality, no support, toilet with limestone, missing small hygienic accessories (cotton buds, cotton, etc.) even if I recognize the positive environmental protection aspect, it should be noted that most of us come for a night or two and we only bring a little, the 2 hydroalcoholic wipes not needed in bathroom. No more bottles of water but a carafe with a still damp cap which smelled bad, to fill in one of the water fountains in the hotel, for us it was on the floor above...San comments Pool side: big disappointment no jet in water and empty herbal tea room at 18 p.m. Little lunch: scheduled until 11 a.m., arriving at 10:30 a.m. we only had the choice of 2 tables close to the exit because the staff was already starting to redo and clear the tables. We feel that we have to have lunch quickly, very unpleasant. the pancakes are not very good...frozen I think...and milk chocolate very bad too. As for the Aumale restaurant: disappointment in the dishes, nothing exceptional, fish with little taste and little originality. Positive opinion: very friendly staff, very nice large and quiet swimming pool, variety of breakfast, very well located in the heart of Rouen and close to an underground car park. To conclude, for a 5 star, there is much better even with a 4 star. A disappointment for this hotel.

We booked a 20min balneotherapy session 90€ too short at this price, you need at least 30 min to relax. Then we had access to the swimming pool unfortunately the water was cool and none of the jets were working apart from swimming against the current. Not enough showers and the hairdryer on the men's side didn't work. Too expensive compared to the quality of services.

Well, honestly, not used to palaces. Everything is wonderful, the staff is kind, welcoming, considerate, polite, helpful, in short, professional. Upgraded by 2 categories, we could have slept across the bed. We almost lost ourselves. There, the air conditioning makes no noise, the doors slam gently, everything works, there is a socket where you need it, the view is magnificent and everything smells good. Bathrobes and slippers provided, we take the elevator to go directly to a large swimming pool at the ideal temperature, a trip to the hammam to relax, a little weight training or cycling? Tomorrow we will come back for sure. The next day, breakfast of science fiction films, everything, so good and full. Another quick trip to the swimming pool and the Sauna, still no bike or runner, but I had a swimming pool. In short, we were offered to keep the car and the luggage (left by the valet in the car) so that we could visit Rouen. It certainly costs more than a normal hotel, with breakfast and a trip to an aquatic center, but there, everything is luxury, calm and pleasure. A real invitation to travel, for a small ticket (369th) Thanks again to the team for your welcome!

Very good stay in this hotel. The spa was perfect and so was the service. Thanks again to Romane and the whole team for welcoming us and for all the little attentions paid to us for this special stay!
