OKTO, a traditional cuisine that replaces Millésime.
A new address is about to open on rue du Vieux Palais in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) by the end of May 2023. Brice Legrand and Laure Touyre, the owners, will inaugurate OKTO, a restaurant which will succeed Millésime .
Located a stone's throw from the Old Market Square, OKTO presents itself as an establishment serving traditional and seasonal cuisine, with a well-defined culinary identity. The couple's ambition is to preserve the philosophy of gourmet restaurants.
OKTO will offer a constantly renewed menu based on the seasonal products available. Customers will be able to choose from three starters, three main courses and three desserts. The average price per person, excluding drinks, will be around 30 euros. The development work on the establishment will soon be completed, allowing customers to discover this new culinary offering in the weeks to come.
A new Italian restaurant replaces Guillaume.
Le Guillaume, a restaurant in Rouen, closed its doors. It will be replaced in June 2023 by Capri, a new Italian restaurant which will bring a breath of freshness to this address.
On the menu, you can find classics such as pizzas (around ten premium pizzas), as well as four pasta dishes, three risottos, a meat dish, a fish dish and four tasty desserts, including a tiramisu. The manager of the establishment promises to maintain the same level of excellence as the other restaurants in the group. The prices of the pizzas will be between 11 and 20 euros. The decor of Capri will be in Majorelle blue tones, with a large bar. The establishment will be able to accommodate a total of 54 people inside and 34 on the terrace.
A new drinks and pastries store is opening in Rouen.
Le Titep', an establishment which combines boutique and tea room, recently opened on Saturday May 13, 2023. It is located at 2 rue Adrien-Pasquier, behind Place Saint-Marc in Rouen. Florian Lepetit, a baker and pastry chef, offers a selection of hot and refreshing drinks, as well as homemade pastries. Emphasis is placed on the use of local products. You can taste these delicacies on site or take them away. Get ready to enjoy delicious tea!
Rouen welcomes a new culinary establishment: Osteria, a modern re-interpretation of Tavola Calda.
If you miss Tavola Calda, a Sicilian restaurant replaced by Fada, you will be delighted to know that the managers have opened Osteria in Rouen, near the Museum of Fine Arts. Osteria offers a concept of simple and authentic Italian cuisine, with traditional dishes such as Bruschettas, pastas and savory desserts, including a re-visited version of tiramisu dating back to 1927. You can accompany your meal with a selection of more than 50 Italian wines. The establishment's terrace, which can accommodate 60 people, is also a great place to simply have a drink.
