Ciné Friendly 2023: 6 reasons to run for the Omnia

The 6th edition of the “Ciné Friendly” festival is fast approaching and we have 6 good reasons to rush to the Omnia from April 5 to 8, 2023! First of all, the quality of the programming is obviously there. The Pix'M association has once again made a wise choice by offering 8 feature films and 3 short films from LGBTQI+ cinema.

In addition, fans of cult films will be able to re-immerse themselves in “Querelle”, the latest film by Rainer Fassbinder, during a “heritage” session. Released in 1982, this film is a real queer gem not to be missed.

If you're looking for an extra reason to race at the Omnia, don't miss the premiere of Georgia Oakley's “Blue Jean” on Thursday, April 6 from 19:30 p.m. This portrait of a woman has already been noticed by the greatest and has been nominated for a British Bafta.

The “Ciné Friendly” festival is not skimping on resources for this 6th edition. Indeed, it offers a trailer signed Nicolas Guittet which consists of extracts from a film by Yann Gonzalez, also on the festival program.

If you are looking for attractive prices for your movie evenings, “Ciné Friendly” is also an excellent option. The screenings are offered at a full price of €7,20, and the organizers have even provided a pass to access 3 films for barely double.

Last but not least, the traditional closing party of the festival will take place at the Le Milk bar (rue du Père Adam). And for this reason alone, it’s worth going to the “Ciné Friendly” festival!
