Le Bec en l'Air, the emblematic festival launched in 2017, is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year with an explosive program! Since its creation, this event has welcomed artists with varied styles to its stage such as King Riddim, Scars, Hasta Siempre and The Gordon Bennett. And for this special edition, musical diversity will still be there, with rock, punk and reggae to satisfy all tastes!
VÂGA, the iconic reggae group, is also celebrating a special anniversary in 2023: its 20th career. After the release of four albums and numerous stage performances, VÂGA plans to release a new album in the spring, in an eclectic and energetic style that has made its reputation.
MamaSaid is a group of four musicians who draw their inspiration from a rich musical heritage, tinged with vintage. Philippe and Laurent, bearers of the rock and blues spirit of Bird Doggin', pay a vibrant tribute to their friend Didier by rekindling the flame of rock 'n' roll through their wild interpretations. Marie, a music enthusiast since childhood, brings her touch of reggae, jazz and blues to the repertoire, while Jean-Marc, drums and percussion teacher, infuses Afro-jazz vibes.
Symbiose, for their part, are the masters of rock/hard rock, but do not hold back from flirting with pop rock, metal and even funk. Their musical experience is a mix of covers of groups such as Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Noir Désir, Telephone, Matmatah and Green Day, enhanced with original compositions.
And don't forget, the festival is completely free and open to all! A refreshment bar will be on site, offering homemade sandwiches and a selection of drinks to refresh you. So come and celebrate this memorable musical anniversary at Bec en l'Air in Montfort sur Risle!
