Small restaurant open since 2018, mok was born from the idea that Rouen, we had no brand that offered gastronomy in the form of wok. And since he established himself at Place Saint Amand, mok has truly become a reference!

Mok, a concept to compose

A very fun concept first of all, with a formula to compose yourself. A base of Asian noddles or rice to which you add everything you like. Marinated meats (chicken, beef, etc.), fresh vegetables, sauce (soy, Tom Yam coconut, etc.) and topping (oilseeds, seed mixtures, etc.), an infinite number of possible compositions and only with local products. And of course at mok we are vegan friendly. For desserts, how can you not fall for the essential Tapioca or the delicious frozen mochis and the homemade coconut flank. Mmmm… Some foodies only come for themselves. You'll have to come back to taste everything!

Mok wows us

The bonus? A dynamic and top-notch team, with fast and efficient service. Arthur, Emma, ​​Nicolas, Lucie and Guillaume compose your bowl with you and cook it in front of you behind a glass roof allowing you to appreciate the spectacular side of this type of gastronomy. 3 fires, 33 kilowatt each, it heats up mok ! The chefs are true circus artists, they juggle the woks and handle the flames with complete control. A real spectacle, to amaze you. Strong and rapid cooking, to heat without burning and to retain all the nutrients and crunchiness of the vegetables. A feast for the eyes and the palate!

An original style!

Inside, a neat decor. A sober and light style, lights suspended from reclaimed wood beams, and with some plant arrangements, mok would almost remind us of the atmosphere of Thailand. On the walls, works by local artists who rotate every month. So if you have a good brushstroke and you live in the area, don't hesitate to send your creations. They could well find themselves at mok !

In short, mok a little restaurant casual, or you can eat in or take away, a real experience not to be missed. Please note: cutlery is also available! Yes! And you know what, even if you don’t eat with chopsticks we won’t judge you 😉 So we head to mok ?

Did you know ? : Wok means “cauldron” in Chinese. It doesn't break a duck's 3 legs but personally I'm still happy to know that.
