Rouen Bouge offers you an anthology of things to do from May 19, 2021. The schedule for the 3rd deconfinement has been announced, and with it the prospect of reopening cultural places and bar and restaurant terraces. We have selected for you some activities to do and good places to eat!

A screening at theOmnia or 76 Docks

Hervé Aguillard, the manager of the Omnia in Rouen, assured us that the Omnia hall located at the Halle aux Toiles (until the end of the work on rue de la République) will reopen as soon as possible. If circumstances permit, May 19. In addition, several hundred films are waiting for you! Finally, the same goes for the Gaumont-Pathé cinema at Docks 76, which is planning a massive release of films for the second half of May.

A play in CDN

The performances at the National Theater Center (CDN) including the Théâtre des Deux Rives, in Rouen, the Théâtre de la Foudre in Petit-Quevilly and the Espace Marc-Sangnier in Mont-Saint-Aignan were already scheduled for the end of June. In addition, we will be able to find the French language festival which will take place throughout the month of June. The CDN box office is expected to reopen in the first week of May 2021 and the theater bar/dining room will open on June 30.

Visit to the museum

When it comes to Rouen museums, you are spoiled for choice! If you no longer have any ideas of things to do, here is a non-exhaustive list of museums in Rouen and its surroundings:

Some restaurant addresses

La Plancha
8 Allée Eugène Delacroix

The La Plancha restaurant offers Mediterranean specialties. There you can find meat, fish and fresh vegetables cooked a la plancha. Come and taste “homemade” cuisine using fresh produce. La Plancha is also an ideal place to enjoy its sumptuous creamy Italian hot chocolate. Come and enjoy a tasty pancake or waffle or simply a dessert at any time of the day. You can also enjoy a drink on the terrace.

Ban Thai
95 Rue Écuyère

Bân Thaï makes you discover or rediscover all the flavors of Thailand. The chefs cook with original ingredients such as curry, mint, lemongrass, coriander and basil. The restaurant highlights exotic products. Ilt offers a different approach to certain products already well known to Westerners. Indeed, we find basil, mint but also meats such as beef and chicken. Change of scenery guaranteed!

The Docks creperie
Boulevard Ferdinand De Lesseps

This family creperie stands out among the Docks 76 franchises! Chefs cook homemade dishes, from buckwheat flour pancakes to desserts. But even if the restaurant is crowded, the service is fast. In addition, even if people come here mainly for the crepes and pancakes, the chef also offers bistro-style dishes. Come and taste good French cuisine!

Mrs.
4 St. Mark's Square

The Madame restaurant has moved to Place de la Boucherie on Place Saint-Marc in Rouen opposite the shopping center. The restaurant has undergone a chic and vintage renovation. The welcome is warm and the terrace allows you to enjoy a good meal in the sun. As for the menu, you can taste traditional dishes, including meats cooked in a charcoal oven which offers new flavors. In addition, you will find finer dishes of French gastronomy.
