Garden plants

Located on the left bank, this park offers 8 hectares of greenery. Built in 1840, it is a real lung for the south bank of Rouen. It not only serves as a place for leisure, but also for discovering many plants from all over the world. The park is recognized as a botanical garden in France and French-speaking countries, and offers you the opportunity to observe a collection of different plants: aromatic and medicinal plants, a collection of irises, dahlias, Asian flora, rockery plants and other tropical greenhouses. Please note that pets are not permitted, but your children will be able to have fun in the various play areas. Enjoy your visit!

Roumare Animal Park

Located just 5 minutes from Rouen, the animal park is the ideal place for a family outing by bike, rollerblades or on foot. Little ones will also be delighted to admire the deer, fallow deer, roe deer and wild boars. You will be able to approach the animals thanks to the observation points provided, without disturbing them. To enrich your observations, educational panels are at your disposal, as well as tables and benches to make your visit even more friendly. Old Rouen

If you are looking to find out Rouen, don't limit yourself to the Place du Vieux Marché or Rue du Gros Horloge, the best-known places. You may not find the hundred bell towers predicted by Victor Hugo, but you can get lost in the labyrinth of the old town by exploring the streets of Saint-Romain, Eau de Robec, l'Âtre Saint-Maclou and others. The quays of the Seine

The Quays of the Seine are an unmissable place in the city of a hundred bell towers. It is a place for walking which has been very well developed over the years. If you are on the Right Bank, you will be able to enjoy numerous bars et restaurants to have a good time with friends. At the Stadium, Snooker, All Sport or Au Bureau, there is something for everyone. Not to mention that it's also a place where cruise ships gather for brunch or an evening on the Seine. Rollet Peninsula Park

Along the Seine, a beautiful promenade extends for around 2 kilometers, from the William the Conqueror Bridge to the tip of the Rollet peninsula. Behind hangars 106, 107 and 108 is the rail garden, a play area for children aged 3 to 10. There you will find two wooden structures for children over 10 years old, a pétanque court and a large meadow for you to relax. The ancient island, which was previously used to store coal, has now become a natural island again, with forested hills, meadows and a seaside promenade. From here you can experience great views of the city and the port of Rouen.

Square Verdrel

Square Verdrel, with an area of ​​9000m2, is part of the history of the city of Rouen. Located in the city center near the Museum of Fine Arts, it is an English-style garden dotted with numerous trees and shrubs, with a magnificent artificial waterfall in the middle overlooking a body of water. It is a perfect place for get some fresh air under a few rays of sunshine or simply to take a gourmet break with the many traders in the surrounding area.
