Ban Thaï: The journey of the senses to Thailand

Advertising

Rouen Bouge tried Ban Thaï for you, a charming restaurant which offers Thai specialties. Located at 95 rue écuyère in Rouen, we take you to discover Thai flavors.

What can we find at Ban Thai?

Thai cuisine is as delicious as it is varied: Salads, soups, chicken, shrimp, curry specialties... Spicy or not, seasoned or very seasoned, the dishes offered at Ban Thaï will satisfy all types of palates!

Prepare for an explosion of flavors. If we find rice in almost all dishes, know that it comes in different ways, or rather different sauces: coconut milk, lemongrass, ginger, curry, and of course hot sauce.

The Rouen Bouge experience

We tasted several dishes, and we came to one conclusion: it's delicious!

First up, the Tom ka kai soup. It is made with chicken in coconut milk, shallots, lemongrass, lemon leaves and mushrooms. If at first you don't know where to start, the chicken tastes delicious. The soup goes very well with rice and its lemongrass scent will not leave you indifferent.

Next, the Kai pad pak consisting of stir-fried chicken with vegetables and cashew nuts. Nothing to say, it was simply perfect. The little sweetness of the vegetables gives a perfect balance of taste to the chicken. In short, it's flawless.

Finally, we were able to taste an assortment of chicken and spicy vegetables. Be careful, it's an understatement to say that it's spicy, it really stings a lot! And again, we could add spice to the dish, we'll let you imagine the fire in your mouth. For thrill-seekers, go for it!
