The Rouen Bouge recipe for students!

Rouen Bouge thought of our Rouen students and their little wallets. In addition to student card, here is one of our recipe ideas to help you.

Pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables:

Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta of your choice
  • 1 small can of peeled tomatoes (400g)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions :

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the red pepper into small pieces.
  3. In a frying pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
  4. Add the peeled tomatoes to the pan with their juice. Also add the red pepper pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.

This simple and tasty recipe is quick to prepare and requires only a few basic ingredients. Enjoy your food !

Of course you can add some diced ham or chicken for our carnivores 🙂
