Oriental flavors in the heart of Rouen with the Chakchouka restaurant

Since September 2023, a new gourmet address has flourished on rue Saint-Hilaire in Rouen: the Chakchouka restaurant. This little corner of Turkey offers an authentic and tasty culinary escape, in a friendly and family atmosphere.

A taste journey to the heart of Turkish gastronomy

Taner Ucler and Merve Doganay, a passionate couple, are at the origin of this adventure. Their ambition? Introduce the people of Rouen to the riches of traditional Turkish cuisine, in a warm and accessible setting.

The Chakchouka menu is a true hymn to oriental flavors. There you will find essential specialties such as shakhchouka (eponymous dish made with eggs and simmered tomatoes), mezze (assortment of varied small starters)

All dishes are prepared with fresh and seasonal products, carefully selected by the chef. They favor short circuits and local products, notably sourcing fresh vegetables from market gardeners in Barentin.

A family restaurant for all occasions

Le Chakchouka restaurant is above all a place of sharing and conviviality. The room, decorated with touches of Turkish craftsmanship, offers a warm atmosphere and an ideal setting for a meal with family, friends or lovers.

The restaurant team, attentive and smiling, takes great care of its customers and will be happy to guide you in your culinary choices.

Exceptional value for money

The lunch formula, from €14,90, allows you to enjoy a dish of the day and a dessert, while the tasting formula at €39,90 offers a real taste journey through the house specialties.
