The Triumph of the Three-Masted
After six months, “Le Français” returns to Rouen from January 13 to 28, marking the third consecutive visit of this majestic three-masted ship. An anticipated event which delights the Rouen public.
Educational Commitment
As a witness to climate change, “Le Français” and his Polar School raise awareness among young people about the protection of the oceans. Hundreds of students will participate in educational workshops on board, an initiative supported by educational establishments.
Open to the Public
On the weekends of January 13/14, 20/21 and 27/28, the public is invited to discover the ship for free. Armada volunteers will be on duty from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 17 p.m. An exhibition on Commander Charcot's wintering in Antarctica in 1904 will enrich this informative visit.
Spectacular Arrival and Departure
“Le Français” will leave Saint-Brieuc on January 12, going up the Seine under the Flaubert bridge on the night of January 12 to 13 between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Docking at the Jean Ango quay of honor is scheduled until January 28, offering a unique experience to the people of Rouen.
