Fantine Georges, passionate about ceramics and an entrepreneur at heart, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of L'Échappoterie, the first ceramic café in Rouen. Located at 81 rue d'Amiens, this warm and friendly place invites Rouen residents to discover a unique experience combining relaxation, creativity and indulgence.
The concept of escape
L'Échappoterie offers an original concept accessible to all: choose a ceramic piece from a wide selection (bowls, cups, plates, vases, etc.), then decorate it according to your desires and inspiration. Paints, brushes and other tools are made available, and Fantine, the manager, is there to guide and advise customers.
A workshop for everyone !
The workshop is open from 4 years old for children accompanied by an adult, and the sessions last approximately 2 hours. The price varies between 30 and 15 euros depending on the piece chosen.
A moment of relaxation and sharing
L'Échappoterie is also a café where you can enjoy homemade pastries, cookies and cakes, as well as hot and cold drinks. Local products are also offered, such as ciders, fruit juices, beers and artisanal coffees.
A success already confirmed
The success of L’Échappoterie was not long in coming. The crowdfunding campaign launched by Fantine on Ulule raised more than 4300 euros, proof of the enthusiasm of the Rouennais for this original concept.
