Since 1912, Les Maraîchers has been a true institution in Rouen.
Prudence Cauvin and her team welcome you to a bistro full of warmth with its enameled plates, its period zinc counter, its oak floor, its slips and its family photos, the oldest of which dates from 1901.
In terms of cuisine, diversity is the key word of the house. Gastronomic, local, meat and fish all in a friendly, atypical bistro atmosphere
The Rouen Bouge des Maraîchers review
Les Maraîchers is undoubtedly one of the restaurants which contributes to the lively atmosphere of our Place du Vieux Marché.
With its ideally located terrace, you can enjoy the last rays of summer sunshine but also come and eat a good hot meal in winter (heated terrace).
Seasonal products and a varied menu, the restaurant is a place to have a good time!

A week agoWhile passing through Rouen, we ate lunch in this restaurant with a daily menu for €14.90. Good dishes and a very good rolled cake. Perfect welcome and service.

7 months agoA superb discovery. Very nice decor, home cooking using local products, beautiful presentation, unbeatable value for money. 20€ starter, main course and dessert menu. Very friendly service. I recommend.

6 months agoThis day while walking, I am attracted by the sea pot as a starter. What a disappointment, a small portion mostly served with mussels and some rare seafood if you look carefully. The sauce isn't bad but hey... you don't have to be hungry! The main course on the other hand extracts. I'm talking about meat. Rich, juicy, tender and the sauce more than adequate. Fries remain fries. The good weather allowed me to have lunch on the terrace, and that's the best thing about this restaurant. I will try the à la carte next time... because I remain mixed on the starters that I observed on the other tables. They seem light to me.
