Our opinion on the Café de Rouen:
We love Café de Rouen for its ideal location on the Place du Vieux Marché, in the heart of the city. The breathtaking view of the church and the pyre of Joan of Arc adds a touch of charm to our experience. The spacious terrace offers a perfect setting for relaxing while enjoying the bustle of the square.
Evenings at the Café de Rouen are simply great! With a happy hour at just €5 per pint of beer, it's undoubtedly one of the best deals in town. We enjoyed sharing friendly moments with friends over refreshing drinks at such affordable prices.
Another strong point of Café de Rouen is the variety of theme evenings that it regularly offers. These theme evenings add a touch of fun and diversity to our outings. We participated in several theme evenings and each time we had memorable moments. It’s a unique experience that encourages us to come back regularly to discover the new evenings organized.

4 months agoVery pretty terrace, opposite the Joan of Arc church. We had a gourmet coffee early in the afternoon, the desserts were delicious. I recommend.

3 months agoRather surprised by the very unfriendly welcome. Come as a group to warm us up a little. Very surprised when when ordering I passed my turn. I have the right to say “ah, we must consume”. When the 4 people before me are having wine and such. I don't understand the obligation to consume. In short, a tourist trap unfortunately. It has many, many bars that will do the job much better. I do not recommend!

a month agoAttracted by the location and the large covered terrace, my friends and I were very disappointed by the deplorable service and particularly the unfriendly waitress. A lot of waiting to be served, we finally gave up on having another drink here, we went to spend the evening elsewhere. Clearly not the best place, continue on your way, there are much better places just a few steps away.

A week agoHappy hour de 16h à 21h mais si vous arrivez à 20h40 et que le serveur prend votre commande à 21h01 ( je ne rigole pas ) vous payez pleins tarif. Plusieurs fois que nous venons dans ce bar où il y a une bonne ambiance, cependant toujours le même serveur désagréable (brun entre 30 et 40 ans) il est à fuir, pas aimable, insultant. Sinon le reste de l’équipe est très sympathique.
