On May 25, 2024, Rouen will vibrate to the rhythm of an exceptional day: Roue(n) Libre. This festive event, which has long remained secret, promises an explosion of color, entertainment and good humor in the streets of the city.
Entertainment for all tastes
From the right bank to the left bank, Rouen will be transformed into a real giant playground. Electric karting, climbing wall, human table football, free fall structure, obstacle course... there will be something for all tastes and all ages! You can even try your hand at climbing on an eight-metre-high wall behind the Jeanne-d'Arc church, or challenge your friends on a giant human table football on the cathedral square.
An associative village and a mini-talent festival
Roue(n) Libre will also be an opportunity to discover the commitment of young people from Rouen. An exhibition of portraits of committed young people will be installed on the gates of Square Verdrel, while an associative village will take place at the top of rue Jeanne d'Arc. In the afternoon, a mini-talent festival will highlight music and dance on Place Saint-Sever.
A big parade to ignite the city
To not miss anything of this extraordinary day, don't miss the big parade on the theme of the absurd! It will set off from the left bank around 13 p.m. to reach the right bank, promising a colorful spectacle full of surprises.
